計算式

よくある質問
How much is the Canada Workers Benefit for 2025?
The maximum basic CWB for the 2025 tax year is $1,518 for single individuals without dependants and $2,616 for families (those with a spouse or dependant). If you also qualify for the Disability Tax Credit, you can receive an additional supplement of up to $737.
What income do I need to qualify for the CWB?
You need working income (employment or self-employment) above $3,000 to start accruing the CWB. The benefit increases at 27 cents for each dollar of working income above $3,000 until it reaches the maximum. You must also be a Canadian resident, at least 19 years old (or have a spouse or dependant), and not a full-time student without dependants.
When does the CWB start to decrease?
The CWB basic amount begins to decrease when adjusted family net income exceeds $17,348 for single individuals or $25,666 for families. It decreases at a rate of 15 cents for every dollar above these thresholds. The benefit reaches zero at approximately $27,468 for singles and $43,106 for families.
Can I get CWB payments quarterly?
Yes. You can apply for advance payments of up to 50% of your expected CWB using CRA Form RC201. Advance payments are issued in January, April, July, and October. The remaining balance is calculated when you file your annual tax return.
Is the CWB the same as the old WITB?
Yes. The Canada Workers Benefit replaced the Working Income Tax Benefit (WITB) starting in 2019. The CWB has higher maximum benefits and more generous thresholds than the WITB it replaced, providing more support to low-income Canadian workers.
How does the CWB disability supplement work?
If you or your spouse has an approved Disability Tax Credit (Form T2201), you can receive up to $737 in addition to the basic CWB. The disability supplement has its own phase-out: it starts decreasing when adjusted family net income exceeds $24,663 for singles or $35,983 for families, also at a rate of 15%.
