United States FAQs

How are ACFT event scores calculated?

Each event converts raw performance (weight lifted, distance thrown, reps completed, time) to a 0-100 point score using published tables. For example, deadlift: 340 lbs = 100 points, 140 lbs = 60 points (minimum). Tables vary by age group and gender.

What deadlift weight do I need for 100 points?

For the 17-21 age group (male): 340 lbs for 100 points. Minimum passing (60 points): 140 lbs. Female 17-21: 210 lbs for 100 points, 120 lbs for minimum. Weights decrease with age for the same point score.

What 2-mile run time is 100 points?

Male 17-21: 13:30 for 100 points, 21:00 for minimum (60 points). Female 17-21: 15:29 for 100 points, 23:22 for minimum. Times are more generous for older age groups.

What plank time do I need?

The plank replaced the leg tuck as the core event. Male 17-21: 3:40+ for 100 points, 1:30 for minimum. Female 17-21: 3:40+ for 100 points, 1:30 for minimum. Plank standards are the same across genders.

How do I calculate my total ACFT score?

Add all six event scores. Maximum 600 (6 x 100). Example: MDL 85 + SPT 75 + HRP 80 + SDC 90 + PLK 70 + 2MR 85 = 485 total. You pass if every event is 60+ and total is 360+.
